How to migrate ETCH to VOCOS?
You can use this swap dAPP to help migrate your ETCH to VOCOS
Here are the following steps:
1. Go to the dAPP page here.
2. Unlock your Binance Smart Chain-compatible wallet by clicking Unlock Wallet (you can also Connect in the top right-hand corner). If you haven’t yet connected your wallet to the dAPP, you can view the guide here.
3. Click on Give old tokens and approve it. Then Click on Get New tokens and approve it.
4. You must have a small swap fee.
5. Done! You can click View on BscScan to see your transaction details on the explorer
Migration Explained
With the crypto-community evolving, so is our launch of VOCOS. As we come to know more about the needs of ElonTech community members, it has become clear that there are some aspects of ETCH token that need improvement. For this reason, we are releasing a new token Vocos (VCS). Here’s what you need to know about the new token and how it benefits you!
We are working with ETCH Dev Mr. Jack M, on this plan for some time and that is why exchange listings have been delayed. But rest assured after the migration of ETCH Token to VOCOS, exchanges will come and they may be closer than you think.
The migration to a new token for the benefit of the community
In order to promote the growth of the community and the Prelaunch of VOCOS, we are developing a new token with a different economic model. The current token is not compatible with its vision and it is not considered an ideal solution for our users. It has been decided that we will migrate it to a new token which will be implemented at the next height. Here’s more information about this change and how it benefits you and the community.
ETCH team will work with some privileges under the new DEV “Edward R” as agreed between the parties. However, 100% authority and control lie under community.
What is happening?
We are migrating ETCH to a new token. VOCOS will have a different tokenomics than ElonTech. We decided to change the name and tokenomics that will be beneficial for the community in the longer run.
There are many benefits to migrating the ETCH token, but before we go into that, let’s talk about what is happening and what you can expect.
Both project teams have been merged into one and has decided to update the token at the next height. We explained everything to Jack about the issues it has and the problem of emerging tokens. After series of multiple meetings over the period of 4 months, we have been finalized on this solution.
ETCH tokens can be exchanged with the new tokens using a simple Swap dAPP. The trading price of the old tokens may not be equal to their value in VOCOS so please take care when exchanging tokens.
Why change? The current token does not meet our vision for the project and it is not compatible with its long-term goals for users. The new token will allow us to achieve our goals without encountering problems. What’s in it for the community? When we release the new token, you all will be able to exchange your tokens.
Note: Your current amount of usage will remain unchanged as well as your future reward rate for those who have locked and more.
Why this change is necessary
The implementation of the new token will provide more benefits for the community. The new system will have very nice upgrades, with built-in mechanisms to avoid abuse or manipulation. It will promote growth by providing a more stable and sustainable token for holders.
Having not hit the $1 dollar mark last year 2021 due to sellers and investors trying to ruin ETCH and clash the name. Vocos team dives in and a number of meetings were arranged between Edward (VOCOS Dev) and Jack (ETCH DEV) to fix this issue, it has been decided that we would migrate to a new token at the next height which is coming soon.

One of the company’s main goals is to promote the growth of the community. To do so, it needs to provide users with a token that reflects this vision. The current token, which has been used for some time now, does not align with the company’s vision and it is not considered an ideal solution for our users so we are deciding to move the holders to a new token.
